Nokia slashes 1k off for their X.

Its normal to hear that Nokia has reduced rates for its newly launched X, their first ever android phone. The X was launched at Rs 8599, and is now officially available for Rs 7729 as stated on the Nokia website.

Nokia X is kind of hybrid version of Android combining some features from Windows. However, the phone did not take off as expected. As most Indian manufacturers offer the Android experience with double the hardware strength and at the same price of Nokia.
The specifications are entry level as the price. Nokia X comes with a 4-inch IPS LCD capacitive display with a resolution of 480 x 800. The phone had an hybrid Android v4.2 and runs a dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A5 processor. The RAM stands at 512 MB and X also comes with just a 3 MP camera with no auto-focus.
Nokia had a glorious past in India, plus their service is good throughout the country. We hope the X gets most of the 3rd party apps in near future to match with that of Google's Play Store. Lets see how well it goes with Nokia with this 1k discount!
