Modern Combat 5: Blackout to hit Google Play on July 24th!

Gameloft’s popular Modern Combat series will be introducing a episode on Google Play on July 24th!

Modern Combat 5: Blackout will be available for $6.99 and Once paid, there will be no additional in-app purchases needed. Gameloft says the new title brings a unified character progression system for both the single-player and multi-player modes of the game. This means that online connectivity is required even when in single player mode, well this would be a real pain.

Although single player will be available, most players will likely want to engage in some multi-player fun. Gameloft is making four modes available for multi-player: Capture the Flag, Free for All, Team Battle, and VIP. The game will support up to 12 players at the same time. Players will be able to choose from one of four soldier classes – assault, heavy, recon, and sniper. Each class gets a unique set of skills.
Gameloft also says this latest title will bring new vehicles, improved visuals, and new environments to the Modern Combat universe.

Gameloft released an updated trailer for Modern Combat 5: Blackout during last month’s E3 event.

They did their teasing part when they released its original Modern Combat 5 trailer a year ago! too much waiting...
