With so much security, the app are to be kept limited, but at some point applications are going to be a necessity. The Blackphone does not have Google Play and the only way to get apps are through the Amazon Appstore, but that to particularly limited.

The tablet seems to have a good impact on business guys that need good big screen for their works, this gives much more matter visible on the screen, Plus we have the security factor.

Super Secure Android Blackphone gets Rooted in Five minutes!

Yeah, really this is too awkward for the Phone Makers. The security-heavy, Android Blackphone handset just got rooted in five minutes at the BlackHat security conference!

And it's even more interesting that it was achieved without the need to unlock the Blackphone’s bootloader.
Justin Case is the man behind this speedy root.
It is worth noting that the root exploit has been mostly patched already. The remaining root exploit is achievable only with the user’s consent.

The Blackphone was announced back in January, and was touted as an Android smartphone that allows its users to take full control of their privacy. The device’s manufacturer has boasted about the device’s tight security features.

Considering that the heavy security is the key selling point of the Blackphone, it's really shameful to get rooted in 5 mins!
