New Photo Leaks about Amazon's upcoming Smartphone

After Tablets & eBook readers, Amazon seems to release a Smartphone. BGR, the technology blog showed some first ever leaked images of the phone. So if these leaks are real then this new device would have 6 cameras onboard! yea u heard it right..Six, maybe to produce 3D images but also some other features.

The Wall Street Journal reported last week that the new device would begin shipping by the end of September and will have a screen capable of displaying 3D images without glasses. Few phones already had this technology including HTC's EVO 3D and even Micromax A115 Canvas 3D from an Indian phone making company which is rooted deep in the markets due to their powerful & cheap phones.
But having 4 dedicated cameras for 3D would bring some new wave in this 'techno-race' hope they rise hologram pictures from them -too much to ask for.
The six cameras are placed as such :
  • one rear-facing (probably 13Mp)
  • one front-facing (normal video call camera)
  • four others on the front of the phone placed on the corners
According to BGR, those four cameras will be used to track the user's face and eyes to make adjustments to the screen in real time, so that the 4.7-inch screen can give the user a 3D image without the 3D glasses. Few leaks states that the four cornered cameras are Infrared sensors which would create a 3D image even in low light conditions which cant be done with the traditional cameras. These being primary leaks, we could get more details soon.
The phone is shown locked up in a hard case presumably to hide its design, looks like Nokia N9 for now lol.
Its said that the phone would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with 2GB of RAM. It will run a heavily customized version of Google’s Android operating system, FireOS. The phone’s display will be 4.7 inches with 720p resolution, bit smaller than phones offered by Samsung and HTC.
Still cool as phone like the Moto X & the Moto G.
Lets stay tuned for more leaks and see how Amazon amazes us.
