A Mystery tablet shows up on the Google I/O Event Webpage

When you open up Google’s page for the I/O event you’ll be greeted with a mysterious tablet.

The mystery tab isn’t anything we’ve seen yet and has front stereo speakers along with virtual on-screen buttons and appears to boast aluminum casing. The bezels are also impressive.

In that pic, the signal and battery icons in the status bar they are blue (strange enough). Android KitKat brought back the white status bar elements rather than the blue which were seen in Jelly bean versions.

As many Rumors hover around, not sure if its a newer Android version or is it the Google's new nexus, namely a Nexus 8 that could be manufactured in collaboration with HTC instead of ASUS, or powered by an Intel chip, or a Nexus 8.9″.

Well we’ll have to wait another month to find out for sure-- same as we waited since last year for this mystery tab below from the Android's Official Website to show up.
