Google has been working with a company called VivaLnk to create a phone unlocking mechanism for the Moto X in the form of a digital tattoo. Well its is now on sale!
Now Unlock your Smartphone without typing a password or a pattern, just place your cell on the tattoo & its unlocked! Sounds cool, this technology works as NFC. Costs just $1 for a tattoo!
Motorola also dropped the hint that there were a number of new unlocking methods being tested. After Google sold Motorola, they kept the ATAP lab, which was working on the new unlocking method. Well these tattoos by VivaLnk are for Moto X for now but they plan to bring them for other smartphones too.
The Moto X Digital Tattoo comes in a pack of ten adhesive units, which can be applied to the skin and they have an expected lifetime of 5 days each for the adhesive, and it costs $10 for the pack of 10. Well I feel that you can increase the lifetime by sticking it to a wristband or something as they won't stretch as our skin does, nor they release dead cells, also wont get washed while you take a shower!
